PLC AND AUTOMATOIN CERTIFICATE COURSE
8 weeks training - Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Process Automation is the know-how of using various control systems for operating equipments, such as machinery and robotics, processes in factories, boilers and heat treating units, switching on telephone networks, steering and stabilization of ships, aircraft, and other applications with minimal or reduced human intervention.

If you are a Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer and interested in pursuing your career in production environment, this course helps you gain hands-on experience working with commercial brands such as Rockwell Automation and Allen Bradley.
Students will be provided with the necessary skills required by engineers which are needed to learn about Process Automation, Programmable Logic Control (PLC), and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). This course teaches the students the essential steps to implement a control philosophy and translate it to a language that is understandable to the equipment through PLC/PAC Programming.
Module 1 (4 Weeks)
The 1st module will focus on the skills required to write and test basic application using Ladder logic programming. Simultaneously, the student will learn about functions of Data Acquisition systems, such as Temperature, Pressure and Flow sensors and the process of communicating data to a PLC.
Module 2 (4 Weeks)
The 2nd module covers more advanced programming content and applications based on our advanced simulator EMU-5000. This simulation software allows you to practice and develop your programming skills by converting your computer into a fully functioning visual PAC/PLC where you can program, test, and debug you application programs. In other words, EMU-5000 replaces the physical PLC lab, ladder rung editor, and all the electrical components that have, until now, been required to learn PLC programming and operation. EMU 5000 contains special capability for step by step execution, tracing, and many more features.

How to interpret block diagrams
Operations of switches and sensors and their communication with PLCs
how to developing basic ladder logic programs
How to specify PLC hardware and installation criteria
Multilanguage programming, using: Ladder Logic, GBC; SFC; Structured Text and Equipment Phase Programming
PLC Programming applications in the oil industry using EMU-5000 Simulator
Multitasking programming for real-time execution, using continuous; periodic and event task
REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED IF THE MAXIMUM TICKET IS SOLD. SO PLEASE REGISTER EARLY TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS THE EVENT.
