About this event
You may have heard that journaling can help with sorting out all the noise in your brain – but what about poetry? In this workshop, let prize-winning poet PM provide you with the tools that you need to make poetry your next go-to mindfulness exercise. (Um, meditation who?) So grab your pens, yeet away your phone, and carve out time to be fully present with yourself and your mind by writing some poems.
Please note these are individual workshops, hosted multiple times, rather than a series of follow-on workshops.
These workshops are hosted by P.M.
P.M. is a writer across disciplines. Her poetry has been published in Spoken Word London’s Anti-Hate Anthology and the King’s College London’s Creative Writing Society’s Anthology Voices. In 2020, she won the Queer@King’s Prize for her prose-poem The Persistence of Memory. And in 2019, she placed 3rd in the UK National Slams. Currently, she is working as a PR & Admin Assistant at Penguin Press, while writing/blogging on the side, and living with her family in London. Usually you’ll find her with a cup of green tea, crying over all the anime, book and video-game characters she’s become far too invested in.
