Event description

Description

The severe decline in the numbers of bees, butterflies and other pollinators over the past decades is threatening crop yields and entire ecosystems. The Pollinator Pathways Project (P3) envisions linking together a multitude of pollinator-friendly gardens as part of networks of pollinator pathways throughout the city of London.

As Spring approaches (we hope!), come and learn:

  • Why must we pay attention to pollinator species, now more than ever?

  • What is the Pollinator Pathways Project?

  • How can I get started with creating a pollinator garden?

Do you have access to at least a 1 m by 1 m area that could be turned into a pollinator garden? P3 is seeking Londoners throughout the city to plant pollinator gardens. Our project will supply a sign, provide support with the planting and help situate the garden as part of a pathway.
