Description

Pollinator Garden Design Knowledge-Share Workshop: co-hosted with Julia Gellman from Evergreen.

We're building pollinator space but hoping to design something beautiful, vibrant and a bit wild too! Held as an informal learning session we will share our knowledge about the importance of pollinators, native plants to create habitat and forage for bees and collaborate on some design ideas. We hope to leave with a plan for renovating the front perennial garden at Loutet. Come share your knowledge.

Follow-up sessions include:

Tuesday September 19, 6-8PM: Volunteer Workbee to prep the sites, propogate ornamental plants for an EGP fundraiser and remove invasives.

Saturday October 28, 9-12: Plant native perrenial polinator gardens with us at Loutet. We will plant a front garden--showy, vibrant and sunny as well as a shade garden near the forest at the back of the farm.
