Registered Massage Therapist, Perinatal Core Trainer, and new mother, Jessie Vanderlubbe, teaches mothers of all ages the real way to work out after having a baby. Giving birth is a major event for a woman's body to endure, yet in Canada there is still no postpartum rehabilitation protocol. Jessie teaches exercises that rehabilitate, yet still provide a fun challenge to new mothers, and restore weakened muscles. Learn why stroller fit and mommy boot camps lead postpartum women into additional pain and poochier bellies. This workshops allows you to tone and strengthen your postpartum body while avoiding leaks, chronic pain and the dreaded "mummy tummy". Whether you're modifying your favourite fitness class or working out on your own, you'll leave with the tools to safely and effectively restore core function.

This workshop combines a fitness class with functional exercises that heal your body after baby and get you back on track towards your fitness goals.

Bring a yoga mat, bottle of water, and workout attire for this talk + fitness class that is customized for all fitness levels and postpartum symptoms. Everyone is invited to join! Mothers of all ages, mamas-to-be, fitness professionals, or anyone interested in how to safely workout after baby is welcome!
