Students will learn all about how to compose a striking design, safe carving techniques as well as hand-printing basics. The students will then learn some of the fascinating histories of printing presses and have the chance to print their cards on an antique tabletop press. Participants will leave with a variety of hand printed projects, their own carved blocks as well as the skill to practice at home using basic art materials.

Excellent for beginner and intermediate linocut students.

Here is what past participants have said about Michelle Wiebe's workshops:

'' Michelle was a great presenter! She is practical, funny, creative, EXPERIENCED and sincere! "

(Plein Air workshop participant)

" I loved how Michelle structured the workshop to permit us to go through all the steps with lots of time with each. I feel really comfortable in doing this again based on what I have learned."
