Tools & Techniques for the Administrative Professional in a New Decade!

Leveraging Executive Presence

Claiming your seat in the boardroom takes courage and the AAP has you covered for the most influential tools and techniques for a new decade!  Be powerfully persuasive and elevate your executive presence, wow your colleagues and executives with your tech skills and cultivate the confidence to lead.
Leadership demands a great deal: knowledge, experience and confidence, but also the ability to communicate those traits in ways that command the attention and respect of others. While it may seem like some people are simply “born with it,” the traits of executive presence can be taught, learned and strategically leveraged.
With an engaging mix of humour and candor, we will look at high-impact behavior and traits at the heart of executive presence.
Lauren Sergy, Founder and CEO of Up Front Communications

Running on Facts - Why You Will not be Able to Escape Analytics in the Workplace!

While the mountain of data our organizations are sitting on is formidable, our human brain was just not built to process all of it. Fueled by creativity and technology, organizations are mining this information and extracting real business value in all aspects of our lives! That’s what analytics is about: changing data into knowledge and turning knowledge into action. Professionals that embrace analytics recognize the opportunity it presents and the mindset they need to adopt for the new decade. Are you one of them?
David Yuk, B.Sc., B.Comm., CST, Senior Director of Project Management with DYPMI and
University of Alberta, Business Analytics Professor
