About this Event
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.
Once registered, you will get reminder emails 2 hrs and 10 minutes before start time. These will include a "join the event" button that redirects you to Eventbrite with the Zoom access link. Make sure you are logged into both Eventbrite and Zoom to access.
We begin at 5:30pm PST and participants will be admitted until 5:35. By this time we will be warmed up and ready to go. People logging in after this time will not be admitted past the waiting room; my apologies but this is to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
Some things to remember:
- check your time zone so you don't miss the class or log in too early - we begin at 5:30pm PST but feel free to log in 5-10 minutes before to get set up
- be sure to create a free Zoom account to access or update if needed
- connecting via HDMI cable to a TV and/or to an external speaker or wireless earbuds (if possible) will give your child a nice big visual and potentially a better audio experience too
What to have ready:
- Stix of some kind - wooden spoons, spatulas, chopsticks rulers, get creative
- drinking water
- a yoga mat if the sound of Pounding the floor is too loud
