Step into your authentic self and uncover, unlock and unleash the power of your personal, professional and public narrative.




Saturday will be busy, with 3 highly interactive, targeted learning sessions:

#POWERUP PERSONALLY: UNCOVER YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF

Awareness is critical. In this session, you will gain insights into key aspects of who you are: your personality traits, core characteristics, and particular gifts. This session is all about surfacing your inner brilliance in order to then activate and #PowerUp! to the next level.

The session is led by Stephanie Graham. Stephanie is a gifted speaker, facilitator, and growth strategist. She specializes in helping individuals, businesses, and organizations activate growth by gaining deeper understanding of their strengths and stretch potential.

#POWERUP PROFESSIONALLY: UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL

Activation is essential. In this session, you will access the tips, tricks, and tools needed to activate the personal insights gained in Session 1. This session is all about using your newfound understanding of your authentic self to maximize your professional impact and influence, and achieve richer results.

The session is led by Lori Anne Jones. Lori Anne is a veteran transformation strategist with key expertise in change, strategic growth, and prismatic mindset modeling. She works with executives and professionals, as well as corporate and non-profit brands, helping her clients achieve and exceed their transformation goals.

#POWERUP PUBLICLY: UNLEASH YOUR POWER

Amplification equals success. In this session, you will learn how to translate the personal and professional strengths uncovered and unlocked in Sessions 1 and 2 into a strong public persona. This session focuses on how to leverage social media and online content to create and manage a 5-Star professional brand.

The session is led by Kim Scaravelli. Kim is a digital strategist with 15+ years of practical expertise in content development, content marketing, and online branding. She works with professionals, corporates, and non-profits, helping them enhance and build their brands through digital content and content alignment.




Saturday night will be a time to renew, reflect, and relax. There will be a family-style dinner, followed by 2 creative sessions, each designed to leverage your new found #PowerUp insights:

You will create a personal painted masterpiece and spoken word narrative that you can keep as a reminder of our weekend together and your special gifts and talents.




Your registration fee includes:

  • Participation in all 3 learning sessions
  • Participation in both creative sessions
  • Coffee break snacks, lunch, and dinner on Saturday
  • Accommodations (based on double occupancy)

Is this event right for me?

Are you ready to take your professional brand to the next level? If the answer is yes, then this is the perfect Retreat opportunity for you! This is a deep-dive into who you are and how to fully leverage your special gifts and talents.

What if I want to come the night before? Are Friday night accommodations available?

Absolutely! You can definitely arrive on Friday night. Saturday will be busy and if this allows you to feel more rested, it may be a good idea.

While the cost of Friday night accommodations is NOT included in your registration fee, our friends at Oceanstone is offering a special, reduced rate for the additional night. Call Susan at Oceanstone to arrange your reservation: 902.823.2160.

What are my transportation/parking options?

Transportation is NOT included in the registration fee. You will have to find your own transportation to and from Oceanstone. Free parking IS available on site for all guests.

What should I bring to the Retreat?

You should pack warm clothes because there may be a camp fire! The sunrise is also particularly beautiful at Oceanstone, so you may want to enjoy a Sunday morning beach walk to catch the sun coming up.

You may also want to bring wine or other alcoholic beverages. The creative sessions on Saturday night will be held in the Captain's House. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are provided but, in keeping with Maritime Kitchen Party tradition, this will be a BYOB event!

I have some food sensitivies. Who do I tell?

We are eating all of our meals together - family style - so it is important to tell us about food sensitivities in advance. Please email Lori-Anne@shift-strategies.ca. She will make sure Oceanstone staff receive appropriate information and instructions.

What is the refund policy?

If you cancel on, or prior to, December 6, 2016, you will receive a full (100%) refund.
