Practical Approaches to Recovery and Mental Health Training:

Whether you’re a student, a mental health professional, or someone with lived experience of mental illness, this course is as essential as it is effective. Designed with a focus on the mental health recovery model, this one-day intensive workshop provides you with active foundational approaches to mental illness.

This workshop will explore:

  • the impact of traditional  models of service delivery on persons with lived experience
  • definitions of mental health, severe emotional distress and recovery
  • the continuum of mental health
  • the principles and key concepts of recovery
  • Hands-on exercises using the principles and practices of recovery
  • the perspectives of severe emotional distress and recovery from persons with lived experience

$150.00 per person. Registration required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or defer your registration. Cancellations are subject to a $25 administrative fee. Last minute cancellations or absences are non-refundable.
