Practice Safe Yoga

Do you find yourself in a yoga class looking around wondering what am I doing?

Or asking yourself, Am I doing this correctly?

Is this supposed to feel this way?

Woo what was that pop?

Is this supposed to hurt?

I feel ya! I spent my first couple years in yoga classes thinking to myself all of the above. However, the most dangerous part was when I stopped questioning it all and I thought I knew exactly what I was doing. I have been practicing yoga for 15 years, however, it wasn’t until I did my yoga teacher training a few years ago that I learned I had been practicing unsafe yoga. The damage was already done. Over the years I have developed injuries that will modify my practice for life. To save you the pain and injury I want to empower you with the knowledge to protect yourself while doing something you love.

Join me to learn just how to practice safe yoga. This won’t be a regular yoga class but instead a CliffsNotes on my teacher training education that will allow you to go into a yoga class with the confidence that you know how to practice safe yoga.

What You Will Learn

This workshop will leave you with the knowledge of how to protect your neck, spine, hips, knees and wrists.

You will learn as well as practice how to do poses properly and safely. You will learn how to come into poses with the proper alignment as well as what muscles need to be engaged. Most importantly you will learn how to make the most minor adjustments that will prevent long term injures.
