Practicing Criminal Law: The Female Perspective
Thu, 27 October 2016, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM MDT
Are you interested in practicing criminal law or learning about the unique experiences of female criminal lawyers? This is a panel you will not want to miss!
In response to the report The Retention of Women in the Private Practice of Criminal Law, released last March, CWSLA is honoured to be hosting a panel of female criminal lawyers who will address the challenges and benefits of practicing law in this area. In order to provide students with a diverse perspective there will be speakers present who have had experience as either a prosecutor or as a defence lawyer. Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the panel.
This event will focus specifically on the experiences of female criminal lawyers, however we strongly encourage interested male students to attend!
There is no cost for the event but we ask that you please RSVP on Eventbrite by Friday, October 21st. Lunch will be served!
