Speaker: Perry Toms, President, Steeper Energy Canada
Perry Toms, President
Perry Toms co-founded Steeper Energy in January 2011 and is the company’s President. He graduated with honors from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business, he has held various executive management positions in corporate and business development within the conventional oil, electric utility and renewable energy industries.
Perry has over 35 years of senior executive experience with such companies as TransAlta Corporation, Energy Developments Limited, Novera Energy, Enmax, ABG Biodiesel, and Licella.
Over the past 30 years Perry’s career has focused on the emerging renewable energy, fuels, and clean-tech sectors located in North America, Australasia, and Europe. Perry has been a leader in non-conventional technology project development and commercialization, including, wind, biomass, gasification, biodiesel, hydrothermal upgrading, and carbon offset projects.
