PrairieLAN is a 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money for The Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan. Featuring 24 hours of intense gaming, door prizes, raffles, and cash prize tournaments all night long.

New in 2016
We've been working hard this year to bring PrairieLAN to the next level. This year we have rented out The Owl, attached to the Multipurpose room which has more than doubled our space. In the new space we are adding Smash Bros. tournaments that take place from 12pm until 2am.
Purchase your ticket before October 17th and receive the pre-registration package full of PrairieLAN goodies.
We have expanded the LAN capacity to 120.
We will also be hosting speed-runners who will be attempting to break world records live on location.
We have invited the cosplay society to make an appearance.
We will have sponsor booths on location for you to purchase all kinds of goodies.
Doors open at 10am Saturday, October 29th, with event kickoff at 12 noon. Event ends at 12pm Sunday, October 30th, you are welcome to leave and come back at any time, but computers will not leave the premises until event close without prior arrangement.
What to bring: Computer and all peripherals, limit 1 monitor per computer(30” max). Headsets encouraged, no speakers. Deodorant and toothbrush, there are bathrooms just across the hall. 10’ ethernet cable. 10’ cables will also be sold at the door at cost. Ensure all games and software are up to date on your system.
Food and drink: Energy drinks, water, snacks, and pizza are available for purchase during the event. There is also a Macs and other food locations across the street from the University.
Age restriction: All ages event, under 18 must bring a waiver signed by their guardian, 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Drugs & Alcohol: Strictly prohibited, anyone caught violating this policy will be escorted from the event by campus security immediately, with no refund.
Cheating/Hacking: Zero tolerance for cheating in tournaments. Any player caught cheating will be escorted from the event, no questions asked!
File sharing/Torrenting is prohibited as it will slow down the network for other participants at the event.
Parking: Free parking available, map coming soon.
Tournament prize pool will be divided amongst the winners based upon tournament entry. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $2 and you can choose to enter into any of our awesome sponsored prizes. Raffle prizes will be drawn at the end of the event.
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and watch the tournament games played live on stage at the event. This year we are asking that anyone spectating the event make a donation to the Children's Hospital Foundation, we will have a booth at the door accepting donations.
We have officially teamed up with The Children's Hospital Foundation and all roceeds from the event will be donated to the Saskatchewan Children's Hospital. Our campaign is run through Extra-Life and we encourage everyone to make a profile and join the SaskGamers team to help us meet our goal.
