About this event

Lisa Malinowski Kamran is a space holder, yoga instructor and sacred activist inspired by the natural rhythm and wisdom of nature. Through sacred breath and movement, Lisa invites her community to journey home within themselves. You can learn more about Lisa at

Pregnancy is an incredible journey that can create a lot of change very quickly. There can be so much planning and preparing, and oftentimes, not enough time spent simply savouring the magnificence of the body and baby.

Lisa’s classes are here to support this journey, nurturing the pregnant body and baby, through gentle movement and breathwork. Her prenatal classes encourage connection, curiosity and self-expression inviting all experiences to the collective space. You may be more experienced in yoga or new to the practice to join us. All are welcome. Please ensure that you have cleared it with your primary healthcare provider that prenatal yoga will be safe for you and baby to practice.

Prenatal yoga may support the pregnancy journey through:

  • Improving sleep
  • Reducing stress
  • Increasing strength to prepare for changes in the body during pregnancy, labor and delivery
  • Empowering and learning to trust the wisdom of the body
  • Creating more space for connection to self and baby

Lisa is offering these two classes for free and through zoom, honouring all budgets and offering more opportunities to gather collectively in an accessible way.

Sunday, May 2nd: Sacred Flow for the Prenatal Body

9:30AM- 10:30AM

In this dynamic practice, we’ll be exploring the qualities of water while tuning into the rhythm of the breath and body. This practice will be offered in a way that feels like flowing down a gentle river, slow and steady, through breathwork and postures. Lisa will support you in finding connection with baby, tuning into your intuition and trusting the wisdom of the body. Variations will always be offered and honored to best support your journey.

Sunday, June 6: Sacred Rest for the Prenatal Body

9:30AM - 10:30AM

In this practice, we’ll be exploring guided meditation, restorative yoga postures, and Yoga Nidra to support the pregnant and ever changing body. This sweet practice will honour the necessity for rest and release. Variations will always be offered and honoured to best support your journey.
