Preparing for Organizational Change: Be Ready!

Change is inevitable and in our organizations, we cannot afford to be surprised by it. Tolerance and adaptability to change is of paramount important to organizational success but, how do we best plan for it and how much planning is enough to make a difference?
Solid and credible research shows that if we plan for change, we are 6 times more likely to not just survive it but to thrive throughout it.
In this workshop, we will delve into the 'hows' and ‘whys' of planning for change, making the claim that even the smallest of efforts to thinking about change can have a positive impact. We will clearly define what planning for change looks like and suggest simple and practical approaches to increasing an organizations aptitude for change.
About the Facilitator
Amber McMillan, CMC PMP is currently the Certification Director for PMI-Vancouver Island and is a Certified Change Manager with Prosci. She has spent most of her career as a Manager and Director in the non-profit sector and is dedicated to spreading the knowledge and understanding of Project and Change Management principals in simple, practical ways.
