About This Session

Activity: Sound Exploration

Materials Needed:

• 3 glass cups - same
• 1 glass cups - different
• Water
• Food colouring - optional
• Spoons, forks or popsicle sticks

We will explore noise, sound and pitch and how different amounts of water and different glasses affect this. Children will experiment with different utensils to see how the sound changes in this open-ended sensory activity.
