ABOUT PRESS FEST:

WKPCo-op IS HOSTING THE MOBILE JUICE PRESS AGAIN THIS YEAR!

GOT FRUIT… MAKE JUICE:

Everyone is welcome to bring their own apples &/or pears (fresh-picked non-bruised fruit) for pressing & packaging in shelf stable (retail ready “bag-in-box”) 3L /5L packages. You pay a small per liter fee for processing, keep the bears at bay, free up your freezer space & enjoy your own fruit juice all year long. FARMERS this is a great opportunity for taking a profitable new product to market. SAVE THE DATE & PLAN FOR PICKING!

TOO BUSY TO PICK YOUR OWN TREES:

You can register your trees for gleaning. Our valley is bursting with over-productive gardens, fruit laden trees and hungry bears… and too much of a good thing, can sometimes be a problem! Fortunately, there are 3 food groups in our area teaming up to create solutions by harvesting and sharing this good food in creative ways.

HERE ARE 3 SIMPLE THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP PRESS FEST

REGISTER your own trees to be picked (you’ll get a share of the bounty)
DONATE your fresh harvested garden excess (fruit & veggies both)
VOLUNTEER to pick fruit, it’s a fun way to give back (and you keep a share)
