About this event

Construction claims are a fact of life for almost all construction projects. It is almost impossible to prevent claims completely but you can reduce them. All parties -- owners, contractors, and consultants -- can collectively work together to avoid claims.

In this half-day workshop, lear claims prevention and avoidance best practices. Following this advice and you will dramatically reduce claims by contractors and consultants.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify causes of construction claims
  • Recognize warning signs of possible claims
  • Select the best preventive approach to avoiding claims
  • Develop awareness of everyone's role in preventing claims
