Event description

Description

** Exciting news! The ROM is offering free access to the First People's Gallery which means all guests can purchase member tickets for access to the tour and exhibit. Full access to the museum will still require a General Admission ticket. **

Toronto Common is returning to the Royal Ontario Museum for a guided tour of the Gallery of Canada: First Peoples.

Created with the advice of Native advisors, this gallery explores the cultures and traditions of Canada’s First Peoples. Collections examine the history of engagement between indigenous peoples and Euro-Canadian settlers, early fears that indigenous peoples and cultures were vanishing, and indigenous cultural expressions as they have changed over time and continue to change today.

Our ticket will include admission to the museum, an hour long guided tour of the Gallery plus a $10 gift certificate for Famoso.

If you're a member of the ROM you can sign up for "Member Ticket". You must bring your membership card to gain admission. Guests that forget their membership will have to purchase regular admission the day of the event to join the tour as we cannot change tickets after ticket sales close.
