Are you a professional on maternity leave interested in connecting with other career-minded women?

If so, join us from April 5 to May 24, 2018 for eight weekly coffee chats (with your baby) to talk about career- and motherhood-related topics.

The meetings will take place on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Grow your professional network as a mother and share your insights and knowledge.

The meetings will be gently structured around topics suggested by the meeting leader and participating women.

Each meeting will have a career-focused topic, a motherhood-focused topic, and free time for getting to know other participants.

Guest speakers may be invited depending on availability.

Snacks (fruit, cheese, nuts, health bars and other) and drinks will be provided.

Space is limited to nine participants.

FAQs

Can you tell me more about how the meetings are structured? Are there privacy considerations?

Guidelines around privacy and discussions can be found here.

Why can't I purchase a ticket to a single meeting?

The program is structured in such a way to foster a deeper connection among participants and stimulate conversation built on trust. Our experience in organizing such events shows that participants benefit more from regular contact than from single events.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There are no ID or age requirements for this event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is parking for 3 or 4 vehicles at the back, just be sure not to park where the no parking signs are. Otherwise there is residential parking around the area. Please enter via the side door on the north side of the home. It is a peach colored stucco home that is set back quite far from the road, so it’s easy to miss it as you drive by the front. But the house numbers are very large and it is on both the back and front of the home.

Some public transportation options are available. Please check Google Maps for the best options.

What can I bring into the event?

You can come with your baby. Feel free to bring a book or article related to the topic of the week. There may be limited, but not guaranteed space for strollers outside. Please be mindful of this when attending the meetings.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can write to prosandbabes@gmail.com with questions about the event.

What's the refund policy?

Due to the limited number of spots, refunds are only provided until 30 days before the event. You can transfer your ticket to another participant for all the events (not individual events). Refunds will be provided only if the events are cancelled or in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the organizer.

There are no partial refunds if you miss one of the events.
