Join the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE), the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), and the University of Calgary CSChE Student Chapter/Chemical and Oil&Gas Engineering Students' Society (CESS) for this exciting event.

John Riddick is the Manager of Process Safety Engineering at Enbridge, and an IChemE Professional Process Safety Engineer. John’s career spans more than 28 years of experience in strategic & operational Health Safety and Environment planning/management with positions in the UK and international. In his career, John has worked in sectors such as Chemicals, Polymers and Petrochemicals, Oil and Gas, Enforcement and Regulatory, and the Public. The topics in this session will focus on:

  • What process safety engineering is

  • The importance of process safety in industry

  • The benefits of obtaining a process safety certification

  • International career opportunities with professional safety engineering

This is a complimentary event for all CSChE, IChemE,and CESS members.
