Rethinking How You Hire & Engage The Right People

This new session has been designed based on years of addressing common issues arising for many business owners and organizations in relation to employee performance, conflict resolution, and the challenge of retaining trained/experienced employees for the long-term.

Often employers are sending their employees to training with the intent of changing behaviours. The fact is, skills and knowledge can be improved upon, and even behaviours that are not inherent (caused by team disputes, challenges such as stress, etc…) can often be changed with the introduction of new ideas, strategies, and coaching, but personality and core values is difficult to reprogram. Your investment in employee training should be strategic, but this begins long before you have hired.

To hire “right” you must assess core values, personality, and behaviours of yourself, your business (organizational culture), and the individuals who can help you succeed. This is not a “good” or “bad” person scenario. As with your customers, you must target the RIGHT people to achieve your goals and foster a positive environment that maximizes performance.
