Project Brew April 2017 - The Brewnited Nations
Fri, 7 April 2017, 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM EDT
Project Brew is a student-run beer festival showcasing the graduation projects of the Niagara College Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program.
Tickets include entry to the event, a commemorative sample glass, and 4 beer tokens.
The Brewnited Nations
The class of April 2017 presents to you The Brewnited Nations: a selection of 20 international beer styles that have been locally developed and produced in our own backyard at the Niagara College Teaching Brewery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Matt Soos Memorial Fund
All proceeds from Project Brew will benefit the Matt Soos Memorial Fund, and you can make a difference by donating directly through the ticket purchasing link or at the event itself.
Matt Soos graduated from the Brewmaster program in 2014, but sadly passed away only a few months after graduation. Muskoka Brewery (where Matt was working at the time of his passing) and Railway City Brewing (where Matt worked for several summers) generously donated money to Niagara College in order to set up the Matt Soos Memorial Fund, which awards a scholarship to the student who brews the best beer in the Niagara College Annual Brewmaster Competition each year.
Come tour the world of beer at Market Square in St. Catharines on Friday April 7, 2017, from 5:30 - 9:30 pm.
