About this Event

A project is a temporary and unique operation designed to accomplish a specific goal. All tasks, resources and objectives must be managed within the defined scope and timeline. Managing projects, therefore, is the application of knowledge, tools, and techniques to achieve the goal requirements on time.

These workshops are designed to focus on the project management process.

Day 1 – November 26th 1:30 to 4pm (register here)

• Initiating: How do we define our project scope and requirements?

• Planning: What are our high level tasks and how do we schedule them?

Day 2 – December 10th 9:30 to 12pm

• Executing: What type of deliverables do we need to provide to our stakeholders?

• Monitoring and Controlling: How can we hold people accountable to their projects?

• Closing: What are our successes and lessons learned?

To get the most out of your workshops, we ask that you come with a potential project that you may be starting in the new year. You will be provided with LinkedIn Learning video assignments between the two sessions as homework.
