Project WET
Event Information
About this Event
Project WET is an instructional resource designed by teachers and water resource professionals for K-12 classroom teachers. This session will cover topics to include in your classrooms such as water chemistry, water quality and human health, climate and weather, water demand management, water conservation, cultural values about water and how to launch action programs and develop water celebrations. The session will provide you with learning activities that can be done within your classrooms that are engaging for youth. These activities promote critical thinking problem solving and teamwork for students in your classroom. Activities discussed within this session will help students to learn about HOW to think about water issues rather than what to think. This session includes lots of great resources to take home!
