Event description

Description

Whether you are a novice or experienced grant writer, this workshop will hone your writing skills to help you secure more grant dollars.

During this 4.5 hour workshop, we walk through the essential components of a proposal, the do's and don'ts and tricks of the trade, along with some interactive exercises. We explore a tool to help you decipher the application questions in order to avoid repetitive answers and to promote persuasiveness. We focus on crafting two essential components: the need statement; and the impact.

Please consider bringing one of your own proposals or applications - either something that was rejected or one you intend to submit. There is opportunity to work on your proposal throughout the workshop.

Full participation in Proposal Writing is applicable for 4 points in Category 1.B - Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
