The Provincial Human Services & Justice Coordinating Committee presents:
Structure and Reporting Changes for the HSJCC Network
a FREE webinar

The webinar will:

  • Provide an overview of the issue on interaction of individuals with mental illness and the justice system;
  • Discuss the need for bridging the service gap for individuals with mental illness who are in conflict with the law;
  • Review the processes for individuals with mental illness admitted to Ottawa-Carlton Detention Centres;
  • Share the successes and failures of the "Discharge from Court Protocol", implemented in Ottawa-Carlton Detention Centres..

HSJCC Network (local, regional, and provincial members), professionals of human services and justice sectors, individuals with lived experience, and Ministries.

The International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL) is a unique international collaborative that focuses on improving mental health and addictions services. IIMHL is a collaboration of eight countries: Australia, England, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, USA, and Sweden.

IIMHL organises systems for international innovation sharing, networking and problem-solving across countries and agencies. The overall aim is to provide better outcomes for people who use mental health and addiction services and their families.
