Long form description:
Since our last public dialogues, we have researched answers to your concerns surrounding the Memramcook River and Causeway and have produced a feasibility report to share with you. We invite you to come and discover the report, share your comments, questions, ideas and brainstorm with us about the future of the Memramcook River. This event is important to us because our primary goal is to work with the common interests of our river communities to ensure a sustainable future for the river.
For over 20 years, SPR has been leading efforts to restore, protect and promote the ecological health of the Petitcodiac and Memramcook River watersheds and the Shepody Bay estuary. The Memramcook River has the potential to come back to life, which will have a significant impact on the quality of life and economy of its urban and rural communities. That is why we want to hear from citizens on how SPR can continue to work together with government and key stakeholders to achieve our common goals.
We have knowledge and expertise in river causeway long-term viability assessment, we have close working relationships with the community and we favour a collaborative approach so that all stakeholders are engaged in the process and support the projected outcomes.
With the uncertain circumstances of the pandemic, the event will be held online.
