Event description

Description

The City of Vaughan is undertaking a review of its current policy that governs the rights and responsibilities of ratepayer groups or community associations.

The City is inviting the public to join the conversation by participating in a public forum that will help shape the future of the policy while reviewing themes that arose from the online survey, which was open from Sept. 4 to Sept. 25. During this session, we will also:

  • gain an understanding of what an engaged population in Vaughan looks like
  • look at how the current registered ratepayer group/community association policy contributes to civic engagement
  • discuss how the policy might better support civic engagement

The public forum will take place at Vaughan City Hall, in the Multi-Purpose Room on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Please register your attendance to secure your spot.

For more information, please visit vaughan.ca/ratepayer, or email your comments or questions to clerks@vaughan.ca.
