About this event

The Public Roadshow is a tour series spotlighting emerging food startup founders and communities.

We're hitting the road to gather with food makers and builders changing the way we produce, distribute and consume in our cities. We're inviting you to join us on this adventure - whether you're a local or visitor interested in food ecosystems.

Your tour pass includes a 4-hour bus tour with multiple stops, featuring tastings, talks and pitches along the way. You'll also access our community meetup and tasting camp hosted later that day.

Where is the Roadshow going?

For the spring series of the Public Roadshow, we're visiting the Canadian Prairies, including Edmonton (Apr 5), Calgary (Apr 19), Regina (May 2), Saskatoon (May 4), and Winnipeg (May 17).

What's included on the tour?

  • A bus tour of local food spots - Discover the places and spaces powering local food startup ecosystem, including tastings and pitches along the way.
  • Meet local food startups - Meet and hear pitches from local founders in each community shaping the future of food.
  • Community meetup + tasting camp - End the day with a community gathering of food makers, local leaders and food lovers.

What are the tour stops?

Stops will be announced here in the coming weeks. Featured stops may include local food production facilities, food markets and halls, and food retail spaces. The tour will end at a venue hosting a Public community meetup + tasting camp event, open to the wider community.

Registration & FAQ

All access tour passes for each city are $119 CAD plus fees/taxes, and include all access to the bus tour, tastings, pitches, and drink/food tickets at the community meetup and tasting camp.
