Event description

Description

Ontario public servants must comply with the ethics rules contained in the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006 and its regulations. Join your public service colleagues and come learn from experts from the Office of the Conflict of Interest Commissioner, Treasury Board Secretariat and the Office of the Integrity Commissioner, about your conflict of interest, political activity and disclosure of wrongdoing rights and obligations. In October 2018 elections will occur at the municipal level. Do you have questions about what kind of political activity public servants can engage in? Would you like to know more about the conflict of interest restrictions that apply to you? Ever wondered about the internal process for disclosing wrongdoing? This interactive workshop will address these and other issues so that you are better able to fulfil your role in maintaining an ethical, professional and neutral Public Service of Ontario.
