Event Details

You are a driven, passionate business professional or entrepreneur who knows that public speaking plays a key role in your success.  You’re ready to take the plunge and get started on your journey to becoming a confident, powerful public speaker.  Now if only you could stop that queasy, shaky feeling that comes whenever you think about standing up to give a presentation…

If this sounds familiar, then Public Speking for Beginners and the Truly Terrified is for you!

Regardless whether you are approaching this class as an absolute beginner or as someone who gives regular presentations but wants to level up your confidence and skill, this class will give you the technique, tools, and practice you need to become a more confident and powerful speaker. Together with a small group of fellow professionals, you will take the vital step in becoming a strong, effective speaker.

Over the course of 8 classes, you will learn and hone key public speaking skills including:

  • overcoming panic and calming the physical symptoms of stage fright,
  • key vocal techniques to speak with greater strength and ease,
  • creating and maintaining a clear, focused message,
  • memory and content creation techniques to free you from relying on notes or scripts,
  • learning how to receive and deliver helpful, meaningful critique,
  • strategies for dealing with and answering questions from the audience

To ensure that you are maximizing both your time and your results, all assignments are structured to allow you to use your actual workplace tasks to practice your speaking skills. This way you can improve your speaking and get in valuable practice for that upcoming boardroom presentation at the same time.

I care deeply about your success, and offer additional support for my group class participants. You will have access to four additional one-on-one telephone coaching calls as well as email support while the class is running.
