There are no minimum age requirements for the tours! Anyone and everyone is welcome, though the tour is geared towards guests nine years and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Are there mobility requirements on the tours?

There are steps to go up and down to the tour site, but if mobility is a concern for you, we do have an elevator available! The tour itself will involve roughly an hour of alternating slow walking and standing.

There are metered spots in our front parking lot, and there are some paid public parking lots located nearby on campus as well. The nearest public campus lot is Lot #4, within easy walking distance of the facility. If you are a large group coming by bus, please note that there is no bus parking available on campus, and arrange for drop off and pick up with your driver.

You are more than welcome to take photos during the tour! Please tag us @canlightsource on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Please contact us by e-mail at outreach@lightsource.ca or by phone at 306-657-3644 with any questions.

The tour I am interested in is fully booked, what can I do?

In the event that a tour fills up before the date of the tour, we may open up additional spaces. Please check here to see if additional tickets are available.

NOTE: Promotional photography may be taken during the tour, which may be used in an official capacity by the Canadian Light Source. If you would prefer not to have your photograph taken or published, please let us know!
