ABOUT LES STUDIO
We are Nancy and Daniela!
We are the founders of LES Studio, an inclusive gender-neutral hair studio located in Downtown Toronto catering to all hair types. Having a hairstyle that defines you shouldn’t be as difficult as it is. Therefore we are aiming on eliminating gender pricing and stereotypes on haircuts that are gender-based.
We met in 2017 working at a barbershop located in Toronto. Shortly after we were looking for adventure and decided to move to New York City. We became quite fascinated with the Lower East Side neighborhood as we both had the opportunity to work in that pocket for some time.
The phrase “gender-neutral” came to light as this was something we both weren’t used to hearing back in Toronto. After getting familiar with it, we loved it and decided to bring it back to our hometown. We make the perfect team for this because we are both very passionate about hair, and have our own strengths as artists. While Daniela’s strengths are medium, long & creative textured styles. Nancy works best with short tight fades to mid-lengths & creative short hair.
