An object/puppet production acknowledging loss, grief, and celebrating resilience and connection as we take the next steps in our lives.
About this event
Siavash in Iranian myth is a symbol of innocence who gets punished for nothing he’s done!
The presenting puppeteers believe that the puppet comes from legends and epic rituals. In this performance they tell a story of rebirth through one of the oldest epic stories from Iran, calls SHAHNAMEH the story of Siavash who passed once from the fire and came out alive!
As humans we all experience trials that challenge the core of who we are which help us see our true nature and connection to all. When we are reborn we are able to change our lives and those around us.
This object theatre/puppet production is a project stemming from individual experiences observed, learnt and faced with losing our dear ones and carrying a friend’s sadness. An acknowledgement of loss, grief, and celebrating resilience and connection as we take the next steps in our lives…..
