On Friday December 2nd, the Racialized Students' Collective at Ryerson and the Community Action Centre at George Brown will be collaborating to bring you our QTPOCC Fall event. We will be having a night out at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre to watch Black Boys.
The play is described as a "raw, intimate, and timely exploration of queer male Blackness"
"Black Boys is created from the lives of three Black men seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, of each other, and of how they encounter the world. As they explore their unique identities on stage, they subvert the ways in which gender, sexuality, and race are performed. Theatrical and intimate, Black Boys weaves together the ensemble’s own personal stories in search of an integrated self and a radical imagination"
Tickets for this event will be available FREE.
Free tickets are limited and will be on a first come first serve basis.
BUT even if free tickets run out, we encourage you to support this project and buy a ticket at the link below: http://buddiesinbadtimes.com/show/black-boys/
