QUEBEC ARTIST UNITED TOUR
To whom it may concern,
this is just a brief description of the Quebec Artist United Tour. Act Like U Know Entertainment Group Inc, in collaboration with MINDSTRONG benefiting mental health services at the Jewish General Hospital,Bell Media Group,Grillades Des Portugaises,Bistro Nolah along with Gemlavi .com also known as Aviron jewellers,C2 productions,MTL Productions, Twelve Ounce along with countless others are proud to announce The first ever, Quebec Artist United tour. The first event showcase of some of Quebec's top artist will be held at Theatre Rialto 5723,Avenue Du Parc. Montreal,Quebec H2V-4H2.This Event will be hosted by Malik Shaheed.
We will be doing this in an episodic and formal way, typical to corporate philanthropy. This is how Montreal businesses will bond together with a common goal – helping those less fortunate than us. We will collaborate with no ego and ONE MISSION, and that is to support our local non-profit organisations. This is our way to give back to our society.
Our primary goal is to show all participants that whether it is in a financial aspect by matching the money in which we have raised, it is favourable for them. It will aid in enhancing public awareness of their business as well as their brands.
This requires a collaborative effort by all and since business and friends are dispersing funds where they wish, we Act Like U Know Entertainment Group Inc and corporate partners will maintain a good measure of power over the collaborative effort.
The collaboration will gain public awareness as well as help increase in sales. We will ALWAYS address the attitude towards the charities that we will be supporting with all corporate leaders because we want NO negative consumer responses, as well as no negative behaviour by any of our corporate partners.
This collaboration will reflect the diversity in ethnicity, in lifestyle, and the corporate companies that make up the great diversity of this remarkable city.
This first event will be to bring awareness to mental health In Canada and it affects not just on the elderly but our youth as well. also to bring awareness to the fact that too many Artist here in Quebec are not signed up with SOCAN. Millions go unclaimed year after year and as a result of some and I mean SOME certainly not all concert organisers, producers and promoters would rather use an artist that don't have their IPI number. To avoid paying artist performance royalties. In the worse cases, the local artist is asked to pay up front to perform in shows and on top of that they don't get paid. As a musician and musicians alike that are affected by this WE STAND UNITED and together we will be showcasing some of the best musical artists here in Quebec. 8 musical acts and 4 DJ's, one night, In doing so and paying SOCAN 3% of the overall gross for performance royalties. Act Like U Know Entertainment Group Inc. & Quebec Artist United will donate 25% of the remaining gross to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation / CIBC Mindstrong for mental health services.
In addition Act Like U Know Entertainment Group Inc & Quebec Artist United will do a press conference as well as a meet and greet concert launch at the Jewish General Hospital on December 12th at 1 pm for the psychiatry staff and patients. The launch concert will demonstrate a glimpse of the amazing and raw talent we will see on December 14th at Theatre Rialto.
In the past, I have been involved in tours sponsored by alcohol companies from outside Quebec. But as a Quebecer " I choose the path less travelled with the first - ever Quebec spiced rum " . What I am proposing is an exclusive sponsorship from Corby.ca. Meaning the only alcohol that will be sold at our events will be by Corby.ca.Especially CHIC CHOC spiced rum.Again especially when we go to other provinces.I am a partner with MTL Productions for the past 8 years and counting and Regent Hevey is one of my good friend and Since "Show Harley" this year, I was introduced to your brand and meet some of the people that work for your company.I must tell you that CHIC CHOC is now my favourite spice rum.
All that being said what I am asking is for any help possible.Whether it be monetary or goods that we can sell the night of the event to raise money for mental health services at the JGH and to help cover costs. In return, visibility will be given to you i.e. brief description of your enterprise and contact info will be in the program book of the event.
I have two Socan member numbers,One as a composer under my name Oral Cole and the other for my record label Act Like U Know Entertainment Group Inc. as a publisher of music. Member #: 8077397 / IPI # 758776279
Together with our corporate partners WE can close out the year with a bang and set the stage for 2017.
"Let Us Govern Ourselves Accordingly For These Two Great Cause".
Hope to hear from you soon .Sincerely,
