Our festival will span 4 days this Pride month June drawing crowds from across the region with film premieres, artist talks, and parties that focus squarely on queer-themed films and videos from Canada and around the world.
Queer North Film Festival will celebrate outstanding, award-winning feature films plus International and Canadian LGBTQ short films: documentary and fiction over the course of 4 days including some locally-produced films.

About the organizer
Sudbury Indie Cinema is Northern Ontario's premiere arthouse cinema. We bring the best in Canadian, documentary and foreign films to the big screen in Sudbury from our charmingUptown location-a 170 seat theatre at 162 Mackenzie St. The Indie is also home to 4 regional annual film festivals: Junction North, Queer North, Sudbury Outdoor Adventure Reels (SOAR), and Sudbury's Tiny Underground Film Festival ( STUFF.) Additionally we programme monthly series such as Samedi Cinema, WomenInFilmWednesdays, First Peoples Thursdays, Les petites vues, and others. We also actively support emerging artists and arts organizations to interface with the public at our multi-purpose venue.
