As part of the Queer Arts Festival 2019
Celebrated national chamber ensemble Queer Songbook Orchestra unearth the queer backstories and personal narratives inspired by music of the past several generations. Weaving together stories told by local narrators including Monica Meneghetti, jaye simpson and Marv Houngbo with arrangements by Canada’s foremost composers.

Doors and bar open at 6pm show at 7pm. For reservations, you must arrive 15 minutes before the 7pm showtime to ensure your seats.

Queer Songbook Orchestra will be promptly followed by Stonewall 50 - Glitter is Forever: on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots that launched modern-day Pride, QAF’s final blowout gathers together to revel in a half-century of queerevolution. Stonewall was a riot — now, we dance. Til midnight.
NOTE: Entry to all QAF events requires membership to the Pride in Art Society. Memberships are available for $3 online or $5 / $2 concession at the door (or included in passes). Please allow a few extra minutes at your first event to obtain your new card.

The Roundhouse is an open-concept space, offering barrier-free access to all areas of the centre. There are three wheelchair accessible washrooms. The main floor washroom is single-stall, gender neutral, and spacious. The two upstairs are contained in gendered washrooms are smaller, but still can accommodate someone using a large motorized scooter.
To get to the Roundhouse:
Walking: From Granville Street, head east five blocks down Davie.
Skytrain: The Yaletown – Roundhouse Canada Line Station is 200 metres from us.
Bus: Buses C21 & C23 stop within feet of the Roundhouse.
Driving: Underground pay parking is available, access off Drake (south of Pacific Blvd).
