Queer Space is an education and support drop-in group for LGBTQ* individuals and allies at Momentum Walk-In Counselling.
In this 1 hour workshop, we will learn how to mindfully pay attention to our "gut feelings" in order to know where our limits are. We will then work through an exercise to get clearer about the specifics of what we're each willing and able to give in our relationships - a tool that you can then take with you an apply to other areas of your life.
"Know & Accept Your Limits" is part of a 5 week relationship series facilitated by a Registered Psychologist & two counselling interns. The other events in this series are:
May 3: What is burnout and why is it a problem in relationships
May 10: Listening to Your Intuition
May 24: Navigating caregiving relationships
May 31: Ask a Psychologist
Attend as many workshops as you choose. As a drop-in, registration occurs on the first visit, so please arrive a few minutes early if possible. Participants can also join this group by getting connected online: www.queerspaceyeg.wordpress.com
Momentum Walk in Counselling has free parking available and is on a major bus route. For questions or more information about the location, please contact Momentum at 780-757-0900.

Queer Space YEG
Queer Space YEG was created with the intention of offering a safe(r) therapeutic space for LGBTQ* (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) individuals in Edmonton and their allies. Online and in person, we’re hoping to make therapy a more welcoming place for gender and sexual diversity.
