Event description

Description

Spring is in the air (hopefully) and that means it is time for our first demo night of 2019!

For this event we have selected 3 LGBTQ+ founded startups to pitch and demonstrate their technology.

A special thank you to BDO for sponsoring this event, and for Autodesk for hosting us :)

Our Demoers:

Marley Errico from All Day Sunday
All Day Sunday is a female and queer led company that seeks to enable and prioritize pleasure and comfort for folks of all bodies, genders and sexualities.
All Day Sunday combines advanced research and plant-based medicine to create products that help women and members of the LGBTQ community take their sexual health into their own hands.
Co-Founder and CEO Marley Errico is a Canadian entrepreneur who has spent the last 4 years working with a team of extremely skilled and knowledgeable businesspeople, scientists, and advisors to develop a line of cannabis-based topical products that enhance arousal and orgasm, as well as mitigate the pain sometimes associated with menstruation, PCOS, endometriosis and sex.
She is passionate about understanding the science behind sexuality and the mechanisms involved in pain and pleasure with a focus on female and LGBTQ+ sexual wellness.

Curtis Campion from Newfound Courage
Newfound Courage is a story-driven adventure game about a gay hero who falls in love with his best friend while the world unravels around them.
Alex's story starts in the strange cliffside town of Silverpine that is home to The Vault, a mysterious institute containing the knowledge of a long-dead civilisation. Alex must explore The Vault's many mysteries and help the colourful townsfolk he meets along the way, while learning to understand and accept his feelings for another young man named Jake.
Curtis Campion is a gay Australian indie game developer currently located in Montreal. He has a history of working in tech and advocating for the rights of the LGBT community. With Newfound Courage, Curtis had one single vision in mind: to create a video game that he would have wanted his teenage self to play. One with a hero with which he would identify. One that’s gay.

Stay tuned for more details on participants! In true QT style, you won't be disappointed!
