If more words are needed to make up your mind, check out the expanded version of what are RA Community Nights :
Radical Aliveness Group Process is an approach to groups that aims to create dynamic space for personal and collective exploration. It combines elements of group support with experiential techniques and somatic (body-based) approaches.
The primary focus of Radical Aliveness Group process is on exploring and embracing the full range of human emotions, including intense and difficult emotions such as anger, fear, and grief while also acknowledging that they will look different for everyone. Participants are encouraged to express themselves authentically, while also developing the capacity to be present with others in their emotional processes.
This process places importance on understanding the impact of societal and cultural factors on an individual's experience. It explores how larger systems and structures contribute to personal struggles and encourages participants to consider the intersections of personal and collective healing.
Radical Aliveness Group process typically involves group discussions, somatic exercises, role-playing, and other experiential activities. It emphasizes the importance of creating a community within the group, where individuals can develop deeper connections, challenge each other's perspectives, and provide support and feedback.
The Principles of Radical Aliveness that will be guiding our evening together:
Knowing I Don’t Know
Being Willing to be Changed
Honouring Multiple Perspectives
Welcoming Everything
Cultivating a Non-Shaming Heart and Attitude
Do No Harm , Do Your Part
