Description

Rain Garden Rebates are back, and newly expanded to include businesses and institutions as well as residential property. To be eligble for this program, you must:

1) Install a rain garden on a residential property in the City of Thunder Bay or on a commercial/institutional property between Thunder Bay east to Marathon;

2) Attend the Rain Garden Workshop hosted by EcoSuperior on April 27, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. A second workshop may be scheduled if demand is high.*(Those unable to attend a workshop may opt to complete online training. Call EcoSuperior for details).

3) Meet other eligbility requirements as explained at the workshop/training.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a notebook and writing utensil. A rain garden resource kit and light refreshments will be provided.

The rain garden rebate program is funded by the City of Thunder Bay’s Infrastructure & Operations Department, the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and delivered by EcoSuperior.
