About this event

In celebration of the arrival of our international ACTIF (Act Together for Inclusion Fund) partners in Ottawa and the conclusion of the Dignity Network Canada's roundtables, we would like to invite you to join Rainbow Railroad and DNC's closing reception.

Join us for an evening of speakers, food, drinks, and music.

This event will bring together 150 2SLGBTQI+ leaders from Canada and around the world, including Laos, Thailand, Pakistan, India, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Haiti, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and more.

Funded by Global Affairs Canada, ACTIF aims to enhance the respect, protection and fulfillment of the human rights of 2SLGBTQI+ persons in the Global South, and specifically those eligible for Official Development Assistance. ACTIF is the outcome of significant efforts made by Canadian civil society to enhance Canadian support for advancing the human rights of LGBTQ2I people internationally. The fund marks a historic moment for Canadian funding for international LGBTQ2I initiatives.

We will be joined by and celebrating Rainbow Railroad’s ACTIF partners: Al Otro Lado, Dialogo Diverso, PASSOP, Access Chapter 2, Fundación Amal Argentina, and Upper Rift Minorities.
