Join us on Saturday, December 12th at 7:30 p.m. for a FREE evening of stories, music and conversation on Zoom with folk/blues singer-songwriter, Rob Lutes!

Every song has a story. As Rob plays a mix of his own compositions, seasonal tunes, and pieces by historical blues and folk composers, he’ll also talk about what went into the making of the song, or relate fascinating, little-known biographical or background information.

Participants are asked to be ready with a glass of their favourite seasonal beverage. Whether your choice is mulled wine or eggnog, chamomile tea or whisky, we will be raising a series of toasts to health and happiness over the course of the evening!

* Please note that while this event will take place in English, questions from the audience are welcome in either French or English.

About Rob Lutes:

The Ottawa Citizen has called him a “gifted songwriter”, The Toronto Star writes that he is a “gem” and CBC radio says that he gives “the show of the year.” Rob Lutes has won praise, prizes, and accolades over his 30+ years as a singer-songwriter, and has toured across North America and Europe.

Among the many awards in both the folk and blues genres that he has won or been nominated for, he received a Canadian Folk Music Award in 2018 for “Best Contemporary Singer.” He has recorded over 9 albums. Rob is notable for the passion, intensity and authenticity he brings to every live performance and he wins new fans wherever he goes.
