Event description

Description

Please join us to hear Dr. Jean Clinton speak about raising resilient children and the importance of relationships for child wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for parents, as well as for professionals who are seeking a Continuous Professional Learning opportunity.

Mad Science will be offered to children who are in Kindergarten-Grade 4, supervised by volunteers who have had a Vulnerable Sector Check by Niagara Regional Police. Those who intend to bring children MUST pre-register their children prior to the event by calling 905-563-4943.

This event is not a religious event and is FREE for all. A donation of non-perishable food is optional and appreciated. Local agencies who provide support to children and families will also be in attendance, with staff and resources they can offer.

Overflow parking is available at Jacob Beam Public School and at Lincoln Kingsway Plaza. This venue is FULLY ACCESSIBLE, including a gradual ramp at the entryway, automatic doors, accessible washrooms on the main floor (same floor as the event) and an elevator to the reception area downstairs.
