Event Details

Ryoji Ramen & Izakaya is partnering with Toronto Common to host a weekly ramen tasting all February every Tuesday just for Toronto Common guests!

We've all heard about ramen but with so many broths and toppings to choose from sometimes it's hard to know what to order.

Ryoji is offering a ramen sampling of 4 of their signature ramens paired with their most popular starters, a dessert and a sample of sake for $24, tax and tip included!



Homemade Gyoza

Mixed beef and pork dumpling


Grilled pork neck with freshly chopped wasabi on the side

Deep Fried Octopus Ball

Fried mashed potato balls with octopus topped with bonito flakes, pickled ginger, tonkatsu sauce and mayo.

Fried Shrimp Mayo

Deep fried shrimp tossed in miso-mayo and tartar sauce.



Tondou Tonkatsu Ramen

Rich and flavourful pork bone broth, topped with chashu, bean sprout, scallion, kikurage mushroom, soft boiled egg.

Tondou Shio

Light and flvourful chicken and pork bone broth, topped with chashu, leek, konbu, fish cake, yaki-nori and soft boiled egg.

Tondou Soy Sauce

Tondo Shio with Ryoji's own soy sauce topped with spinach, chasu, cabbage, menna, leek, yaki-nori and soft boiled egg

Tondou Vegetable

Konbu and Shitake mushroom broth topped with thnkly sliced mixed vegetables and finished with garlic chips, black pepper and basil oil



Freshly prepared Okinawa doughnuts drizzled with chocolate sauce with ice cream.

Ryoji Ramen & Izakaya, established in January 2013, is the only Okinawan-style Izakya in Toronto. With Okinawa's rich history and slightly different culture from mainland Japan, Ryoji offers traditional and inventive Okinawan cuisines and Ramens.

Though the restaurant is new in Toronto, we are branched from "Ryoji Inc", located in Okinawa, Japan."Ryoji Inc." also known locally as "Ryoji Family",was founded in 1996 by the Company's representative director Ryoji Kinjo.

Ryoji Inc. currently manages 5 Izakaya restaurants and 6 Ramen Shops," Tondou Ramen", in Okinawa. 2012, Toronto.


All tickets must be purchased online before 11pm Monday, February 3rd, 2014.

No tickets will be available at the door.

Minimum attendance: 4 people

Maximum attendance: 20 people

Guests should arrive 5 minutes prior to event to check-in.

Tickets must be presented (printed or electronically) to check-in.

Each ticket is a unique one-time use code and cannot be shared.

This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.
