Rare Americans

Two Canadian Priestner brothers who’d never written a song together until a year ago and a crazy Slovakian guitar virtuoso named Lubo. Go figure.

Vancouver, BCs Rare Americans debuted in June 2018 releasing a music video for their first single ‘Cats, Dogs & Rats’. Since then, Rare Americans have generated 7 million+ views on YouTube, nearly 2 million Spotify streams and features in Clash Magazine, Punk News, & Alternative Press. Their self-titled album was produced by 10x Grammy-winner Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, The Strokes) and features guest musicians from Modest Mouse and The Shins. After recently returning from a 16-date stint in the UK, they are back in the studio recording a follow-up album, and are touring the United States.

Death Valley High

Crafting the perfect soundtrack to a romp in the dark, Northern California’s Death Valley High artfully merges traditional goth magic and modern alternative majesty, co-mingling cinematic rock, new wave, and dance music on their 2016 full-length CVLT [AS FVK] [minus HEAD Records]. Now, the boys always incorporated a gothic sensibility, but they fully embrace it on CVLT [AS FVK]. Since the release of 2013’s Positive Euth, Death Valley High logged over two years on the road, touring alongside everybody from Mindless Self Indulgence and ††† (Crosses) to Filter, Orgy, and Vampires Everywhere! That experience left an indelible imprint on the band. Teaming up with producer Ulrich Wild [White Zombie, Deftones], they ignite 12 nocturnal anthems that are impossible to shake and undeniably CVLT [AS FVK].

Them Guns

Them Guns was formed in 2013 by Navarone Garibaldi (Vocals & Guitar) and Kyle Hamood (Keyboards and Vocoder) in Santa Cruz, CA. Nav knew Chris Hudson (Drums) from High School in L.A., and asked him to join the band. Chris and Chuck Holiday (Bass & Vocals) were the rhythm section of a previous band together and the pieces all came together after the rhythm section was complete. Navarone and Kyle are the principle writers for the group.

In April 2015, the independent film “Shut Up and Drive” was screen at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film features co-star Sarah Sutherland (daughter of Kiefer Sutherland, granddaughter of Donald Sutherland), and features the following three Them Guns songs in the soundtrack: “Close Your Eyes”, “Devil’s Eye” and “Heard It All Before”.

The band was asked by ‘Shut Up And Drive’ producer Pete Pietrangeli to perform at the Tribeca After-Screening Event for the cast & crew on April 16, 2015 at Santos Party House in New York.

Them Guns has been performing across west coast markets, as well as New York and London, and recently wrapped up a spring tour which coincided with their performance at the Motormouth showcase at SXSW.

The band has recently released two singles, “Somebody Called the Cops” and its follow-up “Horoscope” and are prepping for a larger release later this year.
