Event description

Description

Session Description

Structured content and good design provide the raw material that Connect authors need in creating an accessible content. What you post and how it looks is crucial.

Content is what viewers visit your post for. Good design can help make sense of that content. The combination encourages people to further explore, and keep coming back.

Find out how inclusive design and content can help make your Connect post more accessible to everyone who wants to visit and linger.

Learning Outcomes

Attendees will learn how to make RBC Connect content easier for employees to understand and navigate. Proper use of colour, good descriptions of imagery, accessible media, and effective use of headings and fonts can make all the difference.

Attendees will get links to free tools. These can help contribute to the accessibility of a Connect content.

Audience

This session is targeted towards individuals who create content on RBC Connect.

Writers and designers who are also interested in learning about approaches to presenting content are also welcome.

Agenda

This 1-hour session will cover the following:

  • Colour Accessibility

  • Legibility

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Accessible Infographics
